Suggested Application
Best suited for cast iron production, particularly where low Al and Ca is desired.
Less dross formation due to control of Ca.
Less tendency for pin hole defects due to control of Al.
Promote & moderate 'A' type graphite structure.
Can be used for ductile iron production as late inaculation particularly where Ca and Ce levels are low.

Rate of Addition
0.2-0.5 % as post inoculation for ductile iron.
0.1-0.3 % in metal stream for cast iron.
